Frottee di Mare brings colour to the bathroom and the beach. With a unique visual language and striking colour combinations, the towels of Frottee di Mare make drying off more beautiful and a bathing excursion more enjoyable.

Large drawings run across the entire format, making each terry towel a piece of art you can touch and use. Here, art is literally interwoven with an everyday product. The result is a unique companion for daily life. Because the towels are woven and not printed, they have two different sides and bring double joy.

All products of Frottee di Mare are made of 100 percent high-quality cotton. They are designed in Zurich and manufactured in Austria. Frottee di Mare was founded in 2016 by artist Nina Hebting and architect Jan Leu.

Our understanding of sustainability

Our textiles are a statement against mass production and throwaway culture. With small editions and unique designs we want to increase awareness of locally manufactured and sustainable products. In an age of convenience, we are committed to a conscious approach to the things that surround us every day.

We care about the manufacturing conditions of our products. We work closely with our producer in Austria, and his many years of experience allow us to guarantee the highest quality.
